This Privacy Policy explains how AVEN (“AVEN”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://avenritual.com or join our waitlist.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — required, so we can tell you when AVEN launches.
• Your first name — optional.
• Your flavor preference (Moon Berry, Peach Lavender, or Tart Cherry) and whether you indicated interest in a one-time purchase or a subscription. We use this to decide what to make.

Information collected automatically

• How you found us — referring website and campaign parameters in the link you clicked (commonly called UTM parameters), plus which version of our homepage headline you saw.
• Referral codes — we generate a code for you, and record the code of the person who referred you, if any.
• Standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, collected by our hosting and analytics providers to keep the site working and understand usage.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card details, physical addresses, dates of birth, or health information. AVEN is not yet available for purchase, and joining the waitlist never requires payment.

Browser storage and cookies

We store a small amount of data in your browser to make the site work: whether you have already joined (so we do not keep asking), the campaign parameters from the link you arrived on, and whether you have already been shown our reminder message. This is kept in your browser’s local and session storage, it is not shared across sites, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

We also use an advertising measurement pixel from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and product analytics, to understand which ads and messages bring people here. These providers set their own cookies or identifiers and may receive your IP address, the pages you view, and the fact that you joined the waitlist. They do not receive your email address from us. If we begin advertising on other platforms, we will name them here. You can opt out through your browser settings, an ad blocker, or your Meta ad preferences.

How we use your information

• To email you when AVEN launches and to deliver your waitlist offer.
• To operate the referral program and apply any discount you have earned.
• To understand which flavors, messages, and channels people respond to, so we can decide what to make and where to advertise.
• To prevent fraud and abuse of our offers.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, including:

• Website hosting — to serve this site.
• Email and marketing platforms — to store your waitlist entry and send you launch emails.
• Analytics and advertising platforms — to measure how our ads and pages perform.
• Ecommerce and payment platforms — once AVEN is available for purchase.

These providers may process your information outside your country. We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes described here. You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link in that email.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined under California law). You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are your consent (for marketing emails) and our legitimate interests (in operating and improving our business). You may withdraw consent at any time and have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

AVEN is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and we will revise the effective date above. If the changes are material, we will let waitlist members know by email.
